Etude House's Lemon Soda Blackhead Out Stick Review
Hello people, welcome to my pathetic blog! Today, I'm going to talk about my favourite blackhead remover stick called the Lemon Soda Blackhead Out Stick from Etude House. I've been using it since last year and it had done an incredible job with cleaning up and minimizing my pores.
The main ingredients of this stick are lemon extract, baking soda, lemon oil and walnut shell scrub. And when you open up the stick, you will see a lot of little scrub particles that looks like brown sugar - that's the walnut shell scrub! It's one of the popular scrub that helps to pulls out white/blackheads from the pores and prep the skin for better absorption. The lemon oil helps to remove dead skin cells while lemon extract is well known to help in brightening dark spots. BUT, unknown to many, lemon extract also helps in melting out sebum and blackheads! Last but not least, baking soda helps in removing the impurities that causes blackheads from your skin.
I LOVE this stick because it's really easy to use. All you need to do is gently rub the stick in circular motion on your face focusing on the areas with lots of blackheads. For me, I have lots on my nose, chin and a little bit on the area underneath my eyes. Then, wash it off with lukewarm water. For better cleansing, before you wash it off, gently massage the area you applied with some water. It will turn milky white once in contact with water. Take some time massaging the product around your face until you're satisfied and then wash it off. The salesgirl recommended that I use it twice a week. But, since I wear make up like EVERY DAY, I use this stick every day as well.
In my opinion, this stick really makes getting rid of blackheads much easier. The formula is very buttery and gentle on the skin. After using it continuously for 2 months, my nose area looks a lot clearer, smoother and less dull. I absolutely recommend this stick for those who wears make up everyday and have lots of blackheads!
