It's Skin Power 10 Formula VC Effector Review
Hello people, today I'll be reviewing one of the It's Skin Power 10 Formula serums which is the VC Effector. I decided to review about this serum because.... well.... I use it (??)
I bought it off Hermo.my with only RM 31.69 (after 6% GST)! The original price was RM59.90 but luckily, it was on sale and I was able to get my hands on it at half the price. I was trying out the Korean 10-steps skincare routine and searched for a good serum. After browsing through Hermo's collection of serums, reading their reviews and a little Googling for more info, I decided to get the It's Skin Power 10 Formula VC Effector.
For those who doesn't know, It's Skin is a Korean brand which has a range of products that cover for all skin types. I'm not going to talk about all of their products in this post as the only product I've been using from them is the VC Effector.
Now, moving on to the serum. The one that I bought is from a line called Power 10 Formula. There are 13, (Yep, at first I thought there's only 10 too) types of serums. Take a look at this list of serums, just in case you're looking for one that suits your skin.

Phew... that's quite a long list! Next, let's move on to the ACTUAL review of VC Efffector, shall we?
I chose to buy the VC Effector because I have lots of acne scars on my face thus, I aimed to buy a serum that will help with scar fading. There are other serums that offer the same effect, but why do I choose VC? Well........ to be honest, because it ranks #1 among all of them. There is ZERO bad review about this serum too, which further piqued my interest to buy it.

This serum doesn't come with a box. The only packaging is the bottle and there aren't much English written on it too. The information is written in Korean (of course) so, unless you can read and understand Korean, you might have to Google for further info regarding the serum. Luckily, I can read Korean so it wasn't really a problem for me.
The cap for the bottle is plastic and its body is made of glass. It also come with a dropper so you don't have to worry about making a mess or if it will cost you lots of time (if you're an avid 10-steps routine follower, you'll know what I mean).
The amount of serum per bottle is 30ml. For some, it might not be enough. But for me, this bottle lasted for 5-6 months as two drops is enough for my entire face. It is recommended to use twice a day for the maximum effect.
As for the formula, I've mentioned before that this serum contain Vitamin C derivatives with brightening properties. Apart from that, it also contains green tea extracts with anti-aging components that prevent signs of aging and promotes collagen formation to help with scars and dark spots fading.
Personally, I LOVE products that contain vitamin C and green tea extracts (all the more reason why I chose VC Effector) because every time I have break outs, I will ALWAYS get big ass acnes that leave me scars. Vitamin C and green tea have been clinically proven to help with scar fading and skin brightening so I always use products that contain these two components.
This VC Effector serum has quite thick consistency with a citrus scent. Since I have oily skin, it does bother me at times as I feel like I'm wearing a layer of mask on my face. However, once it's fully absorbed into my skin, it feels less tacky. It also has a subtle shine to it which is inconvenient if you're planning on wearing make-up and if you like your make up matte. I know, Vitamin C should not be exposed to direct sunlight, but I'm technically working from home, so it's fine for me to wear it during the day. HOWEVER, if you're a student or your work requires you to go out and about, I recommend you to only wear this serum at night.
After finishing my first bottle (I'm already on my second bottle), I noticed that my scars does fade though the process was quite slow. I also noticed that my skin looks less dull. My friends even complimented me and said that my skin looks more radiant.
All in all, I say, for the price, this serum is not bad! It delivers its claims and works really well with my skin. I might buy a third bottle once I finished the current one. :))
